We congratulate the Comrade Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole mni. on the historic judgment of the Edo State election petition tribunal that upheld his overwhelming victory at the July 14, 2012 governorship poll in Edo State. This follows the petition before the Tribunal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the July 14, 2012 governorship poll in the state, Charles Airhiavbere, against Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s victory.
The unanimous verdict of the election petition tribunal comes only few days after the historic judgment by the apex court that dismissed the case of educational qualification against the Governor for lack of merit.
