The Alumni Association of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (AANI) has elected new officer to run its affairs for the next 4 years.

The election took place during the 33rd Annual General Meeting of the Association at the Institute on Saturday, 2nd of March 2013.

The General Secretary of the union and Vice President of the Nigeria Labour Congress Comrade Issa Aremu mni was voted in as the Secretary General while retired Major General Lawrence Onoja emerges as the President General.

Others were Hajiya Ramatu Usman as Assistant Secretary general, Dr. Bello Rabiu Alkali as National Publicity Secretary, Sola Ephraim-Oluwanuga, as National Legal adviser, Dr. Patrick Emembolu Eze as National Welfare/Social Secretary and Alhaji Abbas Bello emerging as national financial secretary among others
