We are affiliated to the IndustriALL Global Union with 50 million workers in 140 Countries across supply chains in mining, energy and manufacturing sectors at the global level. IndusrtiALL Global Union was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark on June 19, 2012 with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The President of the Union, Comrade John Adaji is Executive Committee Member of IndustriALL Global Union as well as the Co-Chairperson of Sub-Saharan Africa Region IndustriALL Global Union. Through the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC)  we are affiliated to the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), the Organisation of African Trade Union Unity (OATUU) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) among others.

NUTGTWN has strong bilateral solidarity programme with the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers Union (SACTWU) that involves exchange of leadership and staff visits and working collaboration in areas of education and organizing.
