Union members gathered to commemorate International Workers’ Day, commonly known as Mayday, under the banner of “The People First.” The event brought together members of our union in different state to highlight the importance of prioritizing people’s rights and well-being in all aspects of society. The Mayday celebration served as a platform for solidarity and collective action.
Speaking on the theme during the MayDay Celebration held at the Textile Labour House in Kaduna, the National President NUTGTWN, Comrade Peter Godonu, remarked, “Today was a powerful reminder that when we put ‘The People First,’ we can create real change. Our strength lies in our unity, and together, we will continue to fight for a world where every person is valued, respected, and treated with dignity.”
