The under listed amendments are to Articles V(i), XI, XII, XIII and XVLL of the Collective Agreement existing between Nigeria Textile Garment and Tailoring Employers Association and National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria Made this day 13th December 2013.
1. ARTILE V (I): MEDICAL ALLOWANCE:
A medical allowance of N750 (Seven Hundred and fifty Naira) per month shall be paid to each employee in lieu of medical treatment for spouse and children.
2. ARTICLE XI: TRANSPORT ALLOWANCE
Transport Allowance payable to junior employees in the industry shall be 335.00(Three Hundred and fifty Naira) only per day worked
3. ARTICLE XII: OUT OF STATION ALLOWANCE
An employee who travel outside his duty station on official assignment shall be paid out-station allowance of N2000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only per night in lieu of the accommodation
4. ARTICLE XIII: NIGHT SHIFT ALLOWANCE
In view of the inconveniencies suffered by the employee who perform night duty, it is agreed that such employee enjoy a flat of N45.00 (Forty five Naira) per night worked a night shift allowance
5. ARTICLE XVII: FOOD SUBSIDY
That a flat rate of N145.00 (One hundred and forty Five Naira) shall be paid to every worker per day worked, payable monthly.
6. EFFECTIVE DATEThis agreement shall take effect from 1st October 2013
DURATION
The agreement shall last for 24 months, how ever, where there are compelling economic circumstances and or Government pronouncement while the agreement still subsists necessitating a re-visitation of specific item(s) of the Agreement both parties shall meet to discuss the specific item(s)
