Executive Governor of Kaduna

Your Excellency Sir
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE DEATH OF SENATOR ISAIAH BALAT
We received with deep shock the news of the death of Senator Isaiah Balat, Special Adviser (Special Duties) to Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Minister of State for Works and Housing as well as former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who reportedly died on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the National Hospital Abuja.
The late Senator Isaiah Balat was industry and labour friendly, patriotic politician, grassroot mobiliser, organizer and astute public administrator. We bear witness to the remarkable achievements of late Senator Balat towards ensuring sustainable industrial development of Kaduna State when he was Chairman of Kaduna State Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
With his death, our union has lost another voice for re-industrialization of the North in general and revival of textile industry in Kaduna in particular. He was indeed committed to peace and industrial development of Kaduna State.
On behalf of the National Executive Council (NEC) of the union and the generality of our members, we commiserate with the Vice President of Nigeria, Arc. Namadi Sambo, the government and good people of Kaduna State ably led by His Excellency, Alhaji (Dr.) Muktar Ramallan Yero. We also commiserate with the family of late Senator Isaiah Balat on this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace. May Allah forgive his sins and give us the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Please accept our condolence and my personal best wishes.
Yours faithfully
For and on behalf of NUTGTWN
